Windows

I hate windows. Why do I use it? Oh yeah...'cause macs suck and I'm too lazy to make Linux run the programs I like. (I use Vista Home Premium, by the way. Not as bad as everyone says it is. It doesn't ask security questions any more than Windows XP Professional with SP 2...) What's this rant about? Well, I'll get to the point shortly.

Anyway, I was playing The Sims 3 (Collector's Edition ftw...I'd recommend getting the collector's edition whether you play the game or not just so you can get the flash drive. It opens instantly, even on slow computers. That and it's absinthe green; one of the best colors on the planet) and all of a sudden, it closes (and I hadn't saved in a while). Windows decided conveniently not to tell me it wanted to restart for an update.

Now onto the point: I've decided I want to get back to writing (it's been since TUESDAY. *gasp*). Then I thought, I don't know what to write! I know what should be happening in my novel. I know how to write it. I just want filler. That's where the point lies: I want you all to suggest things. If I can, I'll give you credit. If not...maybe you'll be a character in it somewhere ^_^

So, feel free to leave a comment with your idea or email it to me. I probably won't use any of them, but contributors may be used as characters, so submit your ideas!

  1. Knowing where your novel is "generally" going/has been I can honestly suggest that the circus get less creepy or if you INSIST on making more creepy circus that you have some not so nice clowns. I mean creepy rapist don't drop the soap clowns. The type that make you clench your ass and throw up at the same time! Now, the main character is either unaware of whats about or gets "taken by surprise". Either way he could be saved by "his female". Especially sense she wont be able to save him later.

That is my rather random, off the top of my head, ide3a.

  2. The circus in mine was creepy at some point? The only thing about the circus that was ever creepy was the female lead's dad...who pretty much fit that clown description you gave...

  3. The circus is GENERALLY creepy! X| Clowns suck and I'd not say the father fit exactly what I mean but yes.

ALSO, there is always possible for the one characters mother to die, if she's not already. It'd be funny to see if the character actually grieved or was relived. The female as well (wife/etc).

I liked your random flashbacks but I don't know what EXACTLY your doing beyond 12 seconds.

  4. The male lead's mother is dead by the beginning of the story, but I'm covering that in a flashback.

Great minds think alike...or was it Great feet dance alike...oh well.
